Catching up on the past 8 months

So..... it has been a ridiculous amount of time since I have last blogged, so thought I would update it since I have the day off today....

       So my last blog you saw that we got a new apartment, well.... that place lasted 4 months. Us being stuck in an apartment just wasn't flowing with our life style. I have to be outside, being outdoors in the sun is when I am the happiest. So we started looking around for houses with yards so I can get my gardening on and yard work and of course so we can have our baby oscar and a new puppy. Well we ended up finding one that just fit us so perfectly and ended up getting it. It has been the best decision ever! We absolutely love it! Its amazing how you appreciate the little things of having a house like, not hearing people stomping above and below you and like carrying your groceries straight to your door and not having to make a billion trips up flights of stairs.  Needless to say we feel very blessed to have been able to be in the position to get this place.

     So winter is finally over and let me just tell you how happy I am. So I HATE driving when there is a lot of snow. It gives me crazy anxiety and I just freak out. I hate losing control of a vehicle and just hoping something other than a car gets in your way to stop you from sliding off the road.. ugh! Hate it. So luckily I have the most amazing husband who is a pro in the snow! But now that is all over with and it is just rain and sunshine which I just cant get enough of!!! I can just stay outside all day long when that sun is out and shinning. Which has been way fun since this is my first summer having my very own yard. I have been out there every chance I get doing yard work and planting flowers! And of course to get my tan on! So I'm really just loving life right now.   But speaking of sunshine, that means summer is almost here and summer means Tys leaves to go work. I wont be going with him this summer cause im working myself....but he will kick butt with this new company! He is always making me proud so it will definitely be worth it, even though I will miss my summer girls I am happy to stay in Utah close to family! When Tys gets back we are going truck shopping for him and he is like totally pumped and cant wait cause he has wanted one for soooooo long!!! And not to mention we are going on our 1st vacation as a couple to tropical heaven for 7 days!!! Ah!! I seriously cant wait!!! We have always wanted to do something like this and we are finally going to be able to!!!!!  We have been so blessed to be able to have good jobs and be able to pay for tysons schooling when there is so many people in the world so much worse off! We count our blessing everyday!

   As a couple tys and I just keep growing!!! We are now to the point where we could seriously read each other just by a look and know what one is going to say before even saying it or doing it! It amazes me how well and close you get to your partner the longer the marriage goes on! We have been married for 1 1/2 and it has been quite the journey! He totally knows what to get at the grocery store now and what we keep stalked up in the house haha he even knows my daily routine and when im in the bathroom with the door shut that he DOES NOT ENTER!!!! I have learned that with him too! Oh boy! did we learn that one fast!!! And its so crazy how attached we have gotten to having each other near by all the time! He is definitely my other half and the shoulder I lean on and the one I go to when I am sad, mad, sick, frustrated, when I feel like punching someone in the face and just flat out emotional cause my monthly visitor is approaching! He is without a doubt my rock and has put up with my loud Italian mouth and temper!
      Enough with the corny stuff! I have had lots of family events happen lately like my baby nephew Rikers blessing and Racyns 2 Birthday! Rac now calls me "issa" and he doesnt leave my side when I go down to visit! He is definitely issa's buddy! And I couldn't be happier with how much he loves me since I live so far away! He brings so much happiness to my life I cant even begin to tell you! And not to mention There is baby Riker! He isn't a fan of "issa" yet but just you wait! He will be!
    Not to mention My sister in law Brooke got engaged to her man Dane and that was pretty dang exciting! As did my 2 amazing friends Katelin and Dustee! I am so happy they found the guys they did! They treat them so good and that makes me happier than ever! And my Best Friend Kaylie married her man in November and I just cant wait until tys and I move to St George so we can be closer to them!

     So Tys and I have been married for almost 2 years so of course "baby talk" has happened. We have a few more things that we want to do with just me and him before we start trying for a baby so that will be a bigger thought sometime in the next year or two! I seriously cant wait to be a mom but I really just want to take in the time I have with it just being me and Tys! But the baby talk is in session and it is a thought! just not anytime real soon!  Our babies right now are Oscar and the newest member Deke! And they are a Hand full as it is right now so thats keeping us busy!


      Well.......Thats pretty much the main stuff that has happened in the past couple of months. I really cant put down everything cause I am not trying to write a book! 

Our New Place We Call Home!

Well It is that time. Tys has officially started school, Im Job hunting and we are in our new place that I love! It is so perfect for us and we have been blessed to get an apartment that just got new carpet and counter tops! So it has that new house smell ya know? But Over all we are SO happy to be back in Utah! I always new what a good place it was to live but not nearly as much as I do now! This is really just a blog to show my friends and family are cute new place, but I might as well brag up my hubby a bit cause i am so proud of him and how smart and determined he is! He is working into getting into grad school to be an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist and I know he will be the best one out there! He as already had to take like 3 test and past them with flying colors! So there is no doubt in my mind that he will pull straight A's again this year! Such a proud wife I am!

Couples weeks left in Alabama

So......I haven't blogged for awhile but we are now in Alabama!!

 I can honestly say I love it here even though it did take 12 flippin hours of being in a car! But I am very proud to announce that during that 12 hour drive I only had to pee like 3 times!!!!! That is like so amazing for me!!! Haha it also made the drive a lot nicer for tys too! Haha we are usually pulling over or even pulling to the side of the road for me to pee cause im like a machine when it comes to that! literally bladder is like the size of a dime! ask anyone! But anyway lets get back on track here.....OK so anyways when we arrived in Alabama I'm like SO moody and just tired and so ready to just go to bed! So we arrive at are place and I was like....Oh h*** NO! Ha poor Tys had to hear  me vent and was kept up all night from me spraying down the bathroom with bleach and shaking out all the sheets and just totally wiping everything down! Curse my mother for making me such an obsessive clean freak! But gosh! All I ask is to go into just ONE  place where it is freakin clean! It really isnt that hard of a job to clean Hotel rooms, so freakin do it right ya know? But anywho the next morning I chilled out. (because I Finally got some sleep!) But, then we see all we have is a mini fridge and microwave? Our thoughts are like ok so how are we going to eat? Well turns out cup-a-noodles are a hit and are keeping us alive haha so we got over that pretty quick!

 Honestly I really enjoy it here in Alabama though! The rooms are not anything near the same as in Ohio, but Tys and I have made the best of it and kinda enjoy them now? Of coarse I cant wait to get home though and live normally again and get my closet back haha cause this is what it looks like now.

But like I said, we are kinda digging it all haha I have made it homey:) But dont get me wrong nothing is better than knowing you will be at your real home in like I dont know......15DAYS!!!! Wow we are still  so giddy over that thought! Its almost to good to be true! We got so excited that we made little calenders just so we can watch the days get crossed away!

But I will admit Alabama is very green and very pretty! Holy crap there are like the craziest thunder storms I have ever seen! Its like a constant thunder that cracks so loud it throws you off guard and makes you slip a little toot haha well thats if your holding one in! Its so awesome though! And Tys has just been killing it so far out here! Very proud of him! And this whole summer has just been a neat experience for the both of us! It really has made us SO much closer and I honestly didnt think that could be possible!
August 1st was really neat cause he proposed to me a year ago that day! And on July 24 was the day we got together 4 years ago! And in 3 months we will have been married for a year!! So as you can see, I didnt think we could get any closer, and we have! Im so anxious just to see how much more we grow in our years to come! He honestly is my best friend and soul mate! Its to the point we finish each others sentences and know what the other one is thinking with out even saying!!! OK! enough of me being corny, because just the other day, the love of my life wanted to murder me!!!
So look....Tyson's hair grows SO fast and his hair is CRAZY thick! (Hope my future blisslings get that) so he asks me to cut it, well hello how fun does that sound? Like im totally going to jump on this! Anyone who knows tyson knows that he doesnt give anyone a chance to do something like this unless they are a legit hair cutter cause I have begged forever! Well little did I know im not the best blender? I could be a PRO at bowl cuts though:) cause thats what he ended up with.......Yah he wasn't happy! So he had his buddy come fix it for him and i will never again be able to touch his hair:( HA! But it looks great now!

Summer life as a sells wife..

So first off I would like to say how clever I thought I was coming up with this post title haha I crack myself up way to much to the point It's probably not healthy.....

So Far This summer has just been lovely! I found another wife to chill with and she is the bomb.com haha there I go again cracking myself up.........anyways we get along so well and pretty much laugh about everything even when its totally not funny to others, and pretty sure we hit up the pool every day.....like literally! We have painted nails, tried to work out, went swimming , played tennis, watch the series Pretty Little Liars, Go on drinks runs, go the the store together and just pretty much a friend romance hahaha....like how guys have bromances. Well come to find out her hubbies car group is moving to a new area and we are just about in tears.......saddest day EVER! But I still have one of my other good friends so I am pretty lucky im not losing both of my girls! So anyways I have had fun hanging with these girls and having some what of a summer! Im making the best of it which is going pretty good!  Tys is working extremely hard and I couldn't be more proud! We have now found out that Tys's car group is now moving.....grose.......that means we are looking at a 12hr drive......and anyone who knows me, knows I pee my brains out like all the time.....So, I'm no good at math but, Me peeing alot + 12hr drive = No good! That right there is simple math and a monkey could figure that one out, so ya looking forward to that! But at least I have my hubby and that is all that matters:) So at this point Im still missing family but, Its like to the point that there is nothing I can do about it so I just had to put on my big girl panties and get over it! But good news is.............. I finally got a smart phone again!!! Blah!!!! excitement beat the crap out of me! So I got a cute little cover for it and I am like too excited over the whole deal! But honestly if you have a smart phone and then go to a regular phone it is the craziest change ever and you feel like your so from the 1800's even though they didnt have phone back then but you get my point................

I can honestly say though that my family calling me and texting me and my grandma surprising me with little things and calling me, has really helped me feel closer to home! It is amazing how much you take family for granted until your away and realize just how much they are apart of your life! I honestly couldn't ask for a better family! I am one lucky girl!!!!

Missing home!

Well pretty sure I'm missing home/Utah like crazy right about now......
For example, I'm missing our family camping trips, BBQS, seeing my adorable nephew, who is growing by the second! I'm missing my adorable father and his big papa bear hugs! Pretty much just my family in general to make that part short! Including my amazing grandparts, and of course my baby Oscar!!! I also miss My Bliss family! We had such a good time down their the last week we were in Utah! I could totally be laying out with my lil sis blair getting a killer tan and jumping in the refreshing pool!! Not to mention Mama Wendy totally bought me a stalk of string cheese which I am totally craving right now!!!! Gotta have my cheddar!!! Oh yah! Not to mention totally missing one of  the greatest moments of my Brookes life!!! Her man DANE will be coming home from his mission in like 2 weeks!!! Yah and I won't even be there for that moment!! Makes me growl a little bit! ha But other than missing family moments and missing the crap out of family, Ohio is just lovely! I seriously have probably gained like a million pounds from just sitting on my butt which is driving me crazy! My butt seriously looks like a hippo! If  I came running at you.....you would not know what is happening with all the cellulite swinging back and forth and my double chin pretty much about ready to knock me out! But hey......I like my food! watcha gonna do about it, ya know? The bright side is I FINISHED SCHOOL!!!! Ah after two years of a pain and torture making myself do it, it payed off for sure! Woot woot!!!

So pretty much Tyson is really making me proud out here. He really is working so hard and for that alone he amazes me! No way in heck could I get a door slammed in my face, or have a large person yell at me and tell me how awful I am! Cause if this were the case? I would seriously have a stream of pee running down my leg EVERY DAY or perhaps a LARGER surprise in my pants if you know what I mean? Just being flat out scared! Ha so there for, very proud of my hubby!!

SO while Tyson is out selling I find ways of entertaining myself. Some days I just wig out and send weird youtube videos of people popping nasty zits to my mom and sister! I am still hoping to this day they open while they're eating just so they automatically up chuck all over the place......that is called SUCCESS! And just the other day I wanted to repaint my toe nails and realized that the fat old women at the airport took my fingernail polish remover from me so therefor I grabbed scissors and had to chip it off and cut my finger in the process of doing so.....hard core I know! Also Tyson gave me a little talent show the other night.......He is going to kill me for saying this but, o well. So it is like 2:30 in the morning and he comes into bed and just starts singing to me! Was it good? not so much. Was it cute watching him try? VERY MUCH SO! Did I laugh my butt off after he finished every song on his i Pod? Yes we both did! And so the next night he is laying on my lap and decides to make a comment about my nose and how symmetrical my nose holes are? Ha ha the kids on crack! But I love him dearly! life would be boring for sure if he wasn't in it!!!! We just can't wait for him to just rip it out here so we can go home!!!! We miss everyone So much! Actually to the point TYSON  is even saying he misses family! And Tys has a hard time being tender, But Im starting to make him a softy!!!!:)

Update on Ohio

So update on Ohio! So far I am really liking it here! It really has been really good for us!
But knowing me, you know I will have a few of...well...Marissa moments if you will? So we go through our morning routine of Tys going to the gym at 9:15 and coming home, jumping in the shower, me getting him breakfast, then going to his meeting, coming back, me fixing lunch, then off he goes. Then this is when I start to make the bed and just start doing the wife like crap, which I don't really mind doing! But while I am in the process of my daily routine I hear a knock? Well the knock like won't stop..they are going at it pretty powerful. So here I am thinking, what dude is at my door....so I try looking out the little peep hole thing, which is kinda foggy. So all I see is this large person standing there....ha so the freak I am, slowly opens it poking my head out ready to pull a knife on a sucker...and what stands before me? A lovely southern maid! Ha well I think she was southern. She was all like " hey girl, does yo apartment need some cleanin"? And me totally stunned, was like "uuhhhh.....no..I think I'm good....but thanks"! So she was like "O ok then, I will see ya sometime next week then"! So when I shut the door I couldnt help feeling like a complete idio,t thinking a killer was at my door! Had to laugh at myself for a minute....Then my next moment, Tys and I just came back from the store and are hands are completely full, maybe too full? And you have to have a key to even get in the lobby area, and then the key to your door. Well they are very similar...so here we are at the door and I keep trying both keys and tyson is saying turn left! turn it left! Im screaming back " I am, I am". Ok, so this went on for awhile of us arguing back and fourth, dropping the keys a million times, just totally lookin like a fool. Well we finally got it, and come to find out there is a camera right there haha so if you turn to channel 70 on the TV you can like totally creep on people right there. So yah pretty sure we were someones entertainment for the night.
So my latest moment was tonight.....So Tyson has been working really hard so I kinda wanted to make him something other than shells and cheese and sandwiches and just dinky crap like that. So I decided to make him this chicken he likes and have it already for him when he gets home, with an ice cold pepsi max for him to gulp down...well I start to preheat the oven, and get on the phone with my mom......I go into the kitchen and its all smoke!!!! Like to the point Im coughing! BLAH!! Im like mom its going to BLOW!!! she says turn off the oven and see if something is burning inside and so i do and cant see anything in there....so meanwhile the smoke alarm is going to go off so I start jumping up and down trying to fan smoke away from it! Well I still want him to have his chicken so I start scrubbing out the stove....my face is all black along with my hands! So I may not be attractive to him when he gets home but atleast my man has his food!!!!
The things you do for love!! So far that is all that has happened! Nothing to exciting but pretty much how we are all the time!

Ohio

Well we are now in Ohio! Yay! I am glad to say that we made it safe but the journey here was quite interesting to say the least!

So for starters, are flight from Salt Lake ended up being on Mothers Day, and not to mention it was at 10:30. So pretty sure we left Richfield that morning at 6:00! Ha my mom is a trooper for taking us there on her special day! So pretty sure we get to the place where you park your cars and you have to slide your card in  the thing to get in and slide the same card to get out.......Well we didnt know that. So Tys slides are card in AND then we read that we have to use the same card to get out! Ha o boy we never felt like bigger idiots. So we had to drive through, leave, and go back around and use my parents card since they were taking back our car to Richfield. So that was our first moment we had. Our 2nd moment was when I had to show them ID. So I have change my social and my card to say Marissa Bliss but I have yet to change my Drivers license. So I show the dude my license and he was like this wont work and so I showed him my card and social and he was like, "well i need to know that is you". I said "Well uh we just got married not to long ago so I really havent had time, but my social says my new name so shouldnt that be ok"? So he goes, "yeah I hope I dont get in trouble with my boss"! Alright dude, do i look like a flippin girl who is going to blow up a plan? Yeah didnt think so. Now the 3rd moment we had, was when Tys and I were going through the little scanner things, and When our bags go through the x ray they stopped and were like studying my flippin carry on, which weighed like 100 lbs! So this is when I started getting really upset. This horrible old woman, who probably wasn't loved as a child, came stomping over with this type of aggression and was like well lets see if you can even take this bag! In my mind I am thinking "oh I am taking this bag women" frick it had my life in there. So she starts digging through it and starts going crazy taking out my NEW lotion, NEW face wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, My mud powder stuff for my face that I haven't even opened yet and last my face pads!!!! I was flaming at the head!!! Heck I freakin wish someone would have told me I cant have that on my carry on! So yah that was pretty upsetting! But then once we got on our plan it was great and we took a little nap and landed in Denver! Which was a way nice Airport! So we got on our next flight to Philly an our later and I ended up sitting by this old man who was so awkward and and weird. But when we finally landed in Philly we waited at the Airport for like three hours for our rental car and since that took forever we stayed the night in Philly and got our rental car the next day so we could head for Ohio. We were supposed to be in Philly but some of the guys spread out through different areas and so we ended up in Ohio which I was totally cool with! But the drive there about killed us haha we ended up in this little red car that looked like a little red tomato! I will have to post a pic of it! We fell in love with the little thing! Anyways 8 hrs of driving, and A LOT of pee breaks by me, we ended up in Ohio! It really is so pretty here and I have went to the zoo with one of the guys out heres wife Dallas and her cute little boy Troy! She is also expecting a little girl next week! So really excited for that! The pool doesnt open until next month so we will be all over that once that puppy opens! But for the record it really is not that bad and I know Tys will be working his butt off! Very proud of him! But anywho thats all that has been going on so far her in good old Ohio:)
